Senator Smucker to Host Second Annual Kids Expo on Saturday, October 1

State Senator Lloyd Smucker (R-Lancaster) will host his second annual Kids Expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, at the McCaskey East High School Gymnasium, located at 1051 Lehigh Avenue in Lancaster, PA.

The free event will feature exhibits offering information on state, county, and local programs and services available to children and families, a reptile show, refreshments, entertainment, face painting and other activities for kids.

Among the exhibitors scheduled to attend are the Feathered Sanctuary Rescue and Forgotten Friend Reptile Sanctuary, the North Museum of Science and Natural History, the Lancaster Family YMCA, the Lancaster City of Police Mounted and K-9 Units and the Railroad Museum of Lancaster.

"More than 30 exhibitors will be on hand to answer questions, provide information and showcase the services they offer," Smucker said.  "It's a fun day for kids and a wonderful opportunity to gather valuable information about resources in our community."
