May 12, 2010 – Senator Smucker toured Armstrong World Industries.  Armstrong is an international designer and manufacturer of floors, ceilings and cabinets.  Armstrong operates 40 plants in 10 countries and has approximately 12,300 employees worldwide.  Armstrong officials demonstrated specialized ceiling tiles, flooring and wall coverings which absorb sound and can be used to improve the sound quality in offices and school classrooms.  Pictured with Senator Smucker is David Cookson, Senior Vice President.  The tour was provided by Paul Aierstuck, Manager of Training and Installation Services.
