Senator Smucker participated as a panelist at a Job Summit arranged by the Lancaster County Workforce Investment Board, the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Economic Development Company of Lancaster County, the Lancaster County Association of Human Resource Management and the County of Lancaster.  The event provided an opportunity to tap the creativity of the business community in the area in order to identify ways that will facilitate job creation.  Business leaders were invited to share with government leaders ideas and concerns which will hopefully shape local strategies that may increase the job market for Lancaster County residents.
