February 1, 2010 – Senator Smucker attended a "wall-breaking" ceremony at Southeast Lancaster Health Services. The event celebrated the beginning of the demolition and renovation of the SELHS' new Arch Street Clinic in Lancaster. Senator Smucker provided comments for the event along with James Kelly (SELHS CEO), Bob Shoemaker (PNC Bank Senior Vice President and Board Member-SELHS), Lancaster Mayor Richard Gray, Melissa Frey (Senator Arlen Specter's Office) and Julie Evarts (Engle-Hambright & Davies Health Management Coordinator and SELHS Capital Campaign Community Donor Chair).
