November 6, 2009 – Senator Smucker presented a citation to Providence Township Supervisor Wayne Herr at his retirement dinner.  Mr. Herr is retiring this year after serving as supervisor since 1998, an eleven year service to the residents of Providence Township.  Mr. Herr also served on the township’s zoning board from 1979-1997, before taking the supervisory position.  His services are greatly appreciated and will be missed.
