Senator Smucker attended America’s 9/11 Ride Kickoff Event in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.  The event included over a hundred motorcyclists who will be meeting up with more motorcyclists from all over the nation before visiting the sites of the attacks at the Pentagon, the World Trade Center, and Shanksville, PA.  Senator Smucker spoke about the sacrifices made on September 11, the unity of the nation after the attack, and the triumph of freedom over terror.
