May 3, 2009 – Senator Smucker presented a Senate Citation to Michael Bassett of Troop 58 in Willow Street during a Court of Honor recognizing this achievement. For his Eagle project, Michael planned and coordinated the construction of a bridge in West Lampeter Township's Village Park as a part of an extended pedestrian path. Michael was joined by his fellow troop members and his proud parents, John and Maureen Bassett.
