May 1, 2009 - Congressman Pitts joined Senator Smucker for First Friday in Lancaster. Senator Smucker hosted an Open House at his Lancaster District Office which featured the Congressman's artwork. Constituents and local officials such as County Commissioner Scott Martin and County Treasurer Craig Ebersole had the unique opportunity to discuss state and national issues and ask questions of both their Congressman and State Senator. Congressman Pitts also provided insights into the pieces of his work he brought for display. Senator Smucker was tremendously pleased and appreciative of the Congressman's gracious visit and with the turnout for the event.
