Senator Smucker participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA. This ceremony was the culmination of a community-wide effort that included raising $2.5 million with the L-S region. The Senator had served as Campaign Chair prior to being elected to the state Senate. The new YMCA opened on May 23rd and is located off of Rt. 741 in Lampeter.
